In pursuit of a greener way of life, we often look for newer technologies like hybrid cars, solar panels, more energy efficient appliances and others. These solutions can help, but in a country like the Philippines, where most people can't afford these technologies, it may seem that being green is as illustrious as having a fabulous lifestyle.I am not a wealthy person, so I can't afford a Toyota Prius, or any other hybrid car. Our house runs on electricity from the electric company that runs on a diesel or coal power plant, and installing solar panels to run the amount of electricity the house needs would cost a fortune. These made me think, "what can I do to help save the environment?".
So today I start my quest for finding gold in being green or if green is as luxurious as gold?
